Global Entrepreneur Week - Viva Lets the Kids do the Networking!
A great day today at Adeyfield School in Hemel Hempstead where local businesses met with business studies students. This gave them the chance to ask questions about how people started their own business, what were the challenges and they also shared what they have been doing at school. The children were from Year 7 to Year 13 and 24 students were chosen to take part, A wide range of businesses took part from various industries including photography, marketing, NLP, serviced offices, Solicitors, life and career coaching, Virtual Services, Personal Trainer, The Hertfordshire Chamber, A tuition school and a writer and this meant the students were able to gain different view points and hear about the highs and lows of running a businesses. This event was part of a series of events at the school for Global Entrepreneur Week. They had also had a swap swap, fashion show and army training!
