Terms and conditions of membership
Terms and Conditions of Membership and Code of Conduct
Viva Business Networking provides a business networking events service. We do not insist you attend a certain number of events. We do not insist you bring referrals of business into the events. We do however ask you to adhere to a few rules set out below.
Upon Registration
Once you have paid your membership payment (or first month’s fees) you will be sent the current members directory, asked to complete a members profile and offered a 1-2-1 appointment with your Viva Host.
If you register as member you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions
Members Conduct
Members are expected to behave professionally at all times. Any member behaving in a manner which in the view of the management of Viva Business Networking is unprofessional or likely to bring the organisation in to disrepute will be liable to have their membership revoked. In the event of membership termination no refund will be due.
Viva Business Networking reserves the right to refuse membership.
We also expect you to arrive punctually for events as late arrival disrupts the meeting.
We ask you to complete a connections form when attending events. This is not compulsory but will aid you getting more business contacts. These must be completed clearly as we cannot take responsibility for errors arising in the post event email due to unclear information.
Fees
These are payable in advance in all cases. Please check your invoice for payment information. Fees paid for events are non refundable if the event is cancelled 48 hours or less prior to the event. Membership fees are non refundable.
If membership is being paid monthly, this membership payment must continue for the full 12 months or can be paid up in full. There are no exceptions.
Emails
Members must be courteous when sending emails to other members. They must adhere to ensure all emails sent are compliant with current legislation.
We reserve the right to update these terms for time to time and should this arise existing members will be advised.
