Melanie Dowie has a bookkeeping business is based in Hemel Hempstead. After being a Viva Business Networking member for 2 years Melania opened the St Albans group in February 2010. The St Albans event rubns once a month at the lovely Black Lion Hotel.

She has experience working in the Telecoms Industry, Reinsurance Industry and one of the Top 5 Audit Firms (Ernst & Young) in Bermuda, where she was born and raised.

She began her training with the view to qualify as an Accountant but met her husband Simon (at Ernst & Young) who is an ACA (Chartered Accountant) and thought one accountant in the family was enough. So, she decided to pursue a career in bookkeeping instead after taking a few years out to raise her family. Her kids are now in school and she started her business with the desire to help and support other small businesses succeed such as yours.
